Pakitong kitong

Just this morning, Allen (my niece), ask me how many “Pakitong-kitong” flowers we have. “Pakitong-kitong” flowers, never heard! The only pakitong-kitong I know was the song “Tong tong tong tong pakitong-kitong…”. So I went to see what flowers she was referring to. It was the anthuriums. She was really excited since she saw a new bud sprouting. Then I asked her: “Who told you that this is a pakitong-kitong?” She answered: “Lolo” (referring to her grandfather). Now I know where I got the genes. Remember the fish fillet? I really am my father’s daughter!
